Puppy Preschool
Currently offered in Prince George, BC, Puppy Preschool is designed for puppies under 25 weeks of age who have their first puppy vaccination.
Our primary focus in this class is proper socialization, including puppy play, body handling, husbandry, and veterinary care, and exposure to novelty. While this class does cover manners and basic obedience skills that all puppies will benefit from learning, this is not our main objective in this class. If this is your focus, please reach out to us to discuss other class or training options that better suit your needs.
Puppy Preschool classes cover:
how to properly socialize your puppy,
common puppy problem prevention & management
basic manners
introduction to handling and husbandry skills
puppy play groups, including how to evaluate puppy play and body language
and so much more!
Each class includes discussion, demonstration, training practice and individualized coaching and feedback from the instructor.
You will also receive a copy of the ‘Dog Care for Puppies’ puppy manual by Vanessa Charbonneau, a training clicker, and access to our Student Landing Page, which includes detailed training videos and downloadable PDFs.
We limit our classes to five students to ensure we can provide individualized attention to each student and their puppy.
Our Puppy Preschool classes are now designed as an open enrollment program, meaning you can start as soon as you (and your puppy) are ready and don’t need to wait for the next set of classes to begin! You will register for 5 consecutive weeks to ensure you are not repeating lessons.

Please note, this class is not available in FSJ as of Dec 1, 2023 due to our instructor being on maternity leave. We do offer an online version of this course.
